We don’t provide useless standard fitting guides. We feel if you normally buy size ‘Large’ then you should be able to buy a large items from us. We will try to provide a Product Fit guide on most of our items to give you the confidence that we have tried it on ourselves and can let you know if it’s true to size or a little small or larger than it should be. The same also applies to footwear, are they true to size or narrow fitting etc. We would like you to get the right item first time with less returns.
Our team of testers will try on items to help reduce the number of returns. However, please keep in mind that everyone's body is unique, and our testing should serve as a general guide rather than an absolute guarantee of fit. We are committed to not selling products that are significantly ill-fitting. We appreciate your support of our website, which allows us to continue to provide helpful information for your online workwear purchases.
Selecting the appropriate footwear can be challenging because of the wide variation in foot sizes and shapes. Our testers will evaluate the footwear and inform you if they are true to size or not. Please take note of whether the footwear is narrow, regular, or wide fitting, to ensure it meets your needs. If you frequently find that boots are too tight when you try them on, you may have wide feet. We want to highlight that nearly all Dewalt Safety Boots have a narrow fit. Our team will continuously strive to provide as much information as possible to help you make the best choice on your first attempt.

WHERE ARE YOUR SIZE CHARTS ?

You mean the generic size charts from manufactures that blanket covers every item they sell?
How about a different approach. As already mentioned, let us try the items on and let you know how they fit. Wouldn't it be nice to know that if you wear XL clothing already, that you can just buy XL clothing from us. We will let you know if it is slim fit or if it is smaller or larger than standard. You don't wander around a clothes shop asking for clothing charts, then why use them online. They are sometimes next to useless. Shop for your workwear online in a different way, the Toolmonkey way.

Work Trousers Waist

We don't stock any trousers that have a high return rate. We want to stock work trousers that fit out the packet and are comfortable from day one. Trousers will be standard waist fitting unless they are advertised as 'Low Rise Waist'. Low rise waist trousers sit lower than standard trousers on the hips. If you like to pull your trousers up as far as you can these are not for you.
Please be aware that manufactures have a 1" tollerece when making work trousers. This can vary on each production run they do. Clothing is not classed as faulty if it falls within manufacture tollerences.

Work Trousers Leg

Work trousers now come in a selection of leg styles.

Relaxed fitting work trousers

These are the standard old skool baggy work trousers. These still sell by the lorry load as they are comfortable, hard wearing and wash easily. Normally no need for more expensive stretch fabric as they are not tight on the leg.

Regular fitting work trousers

Regular fit is a more modern sometimes tapered leg work trouser. These sit between relaxed and slim fit. Because they fit slightly tighter on the leg they normally have a stretch fabric.

Slim fit work trousers

Slim fit work trousers have the tightest leg out of the 3 choices. Stretch fabric is a must to allow ease of movement. Slim fit work trousers are becoming extremely popular as they can look proper smart on site, they also don't look too shabby when you stop for a pint after work.
Just remember, slim fit is not skinny fit!
