Orders & delivery
Is everything on the site really in stock?
Yes. We don't drop ship. Everything we sell is on our own shelves in Leighton Buzzard, so when it says in stock, we have it here ready to pick and pack.
How much is delivery?
Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £20. Faster services are available at checkout. See Delivery for details.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed by 2pm, Monday to Friday, leave the same day. Royal Mail Tracked takes 2 to 3 working days. Express arrives the next working day, so a Friday order arrives on Monday.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not at the moment. We deliver to UK addresses only, including Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands and islands.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and most other major debit and credit cards, plus PayPal. All prices are in pounds sterling. See Payments.
Can I see prices with or without VAT?
Yes. Use the VAT switch in the top bar to show prices including or excluding VAT.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
You have 30 days to return unworn, unwashed items with their tags on. Returns are free if an item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing. Otherwise £2.49 is taken off your refund for the Royal Mail return label. See Returns.
How do I start a return?
Sign in to your account, open your order history and click Request Return on the order. If you checked out as a guest, contact us with your order number and we'll set it up for you.
Can I exchange an item for a different size?
We offer refunds rather than exchanges. Return the item and place a new order for the size you need. That's the quickest way to get it.
Sizing & the store
How do I find my size?
Most of our products have a fit note from our team, such as "fits small" or "true to size", because we try the gear on ourselves. Our fit guide explains how it works. If you're local, you can also try things on in our Leighton Buzzard store.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Visit our store at Units 9-10 Clipstone Brook, Cherry Court Way, Leighton Buzzard LU7 4GP, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5pm. Anything showing in stock online is available to buy in store. Ask the team if you can't see it on display.
Do you offer Click & Collect?
Not at the moment. You're welcome to visit the store to buy in person.
Safety ratings explained
What do S1P, S3 and S7 mean on safety boots?
They are safety ratings under EN ISO 20345. Every rating includes a 200 joule protective toe cap. S1P adds an antistatic, energy-absorbing heel and a puncture-resistant midsole. S3 adds a water-resistant upper and a cleated outsole. S7 is an S3 boot that is waterproof as a whole, not just the upper. S1 and S2 have no puncture-resistant midsole. S4 and S5 are rubber or polymer boots, such as safety wellingtons.
What do the letters after the rating mean, like SR, HRO or WR?
They are extra protections. SR means extra slip resistance on a ceramic floor with glycerine (since the 2022 standard, every safety shoe must pass a basic slip test). HRO is a heat-resistant outsole, up to 300°C for a minute. WR means the whole boot is water resistant. CI is cold insulation, HI is heat insulation, and M is metatarsal protection. PL and PS show the type of non-metal puncture-resistant midsole. Older boots may show SRA, SRB or SRC, which are the previous slip ratings.
Steel or composite toe caps: which is better?
Both meet the same 200 joule safety test. Composite toe caps are lighter, don't conduct cold or heat, and won't set off metal detectors. Steel toe caps are usually slimmer and often cheaper. Choose the one that suits your work and your site rules.
What do hi-vis classes mean?
Hi-vis clothing is rated under EN ISO 20471 from Class 1 to Class 3, based on how much fluorescent and reflective material it has. Class 3 gives the most visibility. Many road, rail and highway sites require Class 2 or Class 3, so always check your site's rules.
Do you sell New Balance safety footwear?
Yes. We stock the New Balance safety range, which includes safety trainers and boots with protective toe caps. See New Balance safety footwear.

Do you offer bulk discounts for larger orders?
More Info
Absolutely! Our company does provide bulk discounts for larger orders. We take pride in offering our customers the best possible pricing and outstanding customer service. Unlike other sellers, we keep everything we sell in stock in our warehouses, ensuring prompt delivery to our clients. Additionally, we offer accurate fitment guides and hassle-free returns. If your order qualifies for a bulk discount, we would be happy to discuss the possibility of offering you a reduced price. To inquire about a bulk discount, you can reach out to us using our contact form or by giving us a call.
What is drop shipping?
More Info
We do not practice drop shipping. This method involves displaying items on your website that you don't have in stock, and instead rely on a third-party wholesaler or supplier to ship the products directly to the customer. Drop shipping can have downsides such as limited parcel tracking, challenging returns process, and a lack of investment in the products being sold. Our approach is different; we prefer to showcase a curated selection of 20 trousers that we believe are of excellent value, provide a good fit, and have a low return rate. We avoid overwhelming you with a catalog of 500 trousers to browse through, ensuring that you have a satisfying shopping experience. It's important to note that other popular concerns with the drop shipping model include potential shipping delays, unreliable inventory, and difficulty maintaining consistent quality control.
How do I determine what size I need to order?
More Info
We believe in providing our customers with accurate sizing information, rather than useless standard fitting guides. We understand that if you normally wear a size 'Large,' you should be able to purchase a large item from us with confidence. Therefore, we strive to offer a Product Fit guide on most of our items. Our team has personally tried on each product to ensure that we can inform you whether it's true to size, runs a little small or large. This approach also applies to our footwear collection, where we provide details on whether a shoe is true to size or has a narrow fit. Our ultimate goal is to help you make the right purchase the first time, reducing the need for returns.
Do you offer customisation options, such as adding logos or names to clothing?
More Info
We don’t offer a customisation option to add logos at this time.
