From the radial arm saw to site boots
DeWalt was founded in 1924 by Raymond E. DeWalt, the inventor of the radial arm saw, in Leola, Pennsylvania. Today it is part of Stanley Black & Decker and one of the best-known power tool brands on site.
DeWalt workwear and safety footwear carry the same name into clothing and boots for the trades: work trousers, waterproof jackets, hoodies and steel toe safety boots.

Which DeWalt safety boots are most popular?
The DeWalt Builder is one of our best-selling work boots. The Alpine and the East Haven dealer boot are also customer favourites. All three have steel toe caps.
Are DeWalt boots steel toe or composite?
It depends on the boot. The Builder, Alpine and East Haven all have steel toe caps. Check the safety rating and toe cap details on each product page.
Do you stock waterproof DeWalt boots?
Yes. The DeWalt Newark is a waterproof safety boot, and the East Haven has a water-resistant leather upper. Look for "waterproof" in the product name or the WR rating on each product page.
Is there VAT on DeWalt safety boots?
Protective safety footwear is zero-rated for VAT when bought by an individual for their own use, so there is no VAT on DeWalt safety boots. Clothing includes VAT at the standard rate. If you are buying boots for your staff, see our Terms.
